Here at DARCARS one thing that we take very seriously is giving back to our local community. Whether it's hosting a blood drive, helping out at the local food pantry or raising money for pediatric spinal-cord cancer research we love to help out the people that have given us so much. Here are just a few highlights of what we have been doing in last couple of months and what we have been planned for this spring.

DARCARS Partners with MCPAW Montgomery County Partners for Animal Well-being

We're very proud to support MCPAW Montgomery County Partners for Animal Well-being. Together, we are creating a facility that is housing and caring for the county's homeless and stray animals while they await new homes or are reunited with their owners.

Capital Buzz: At family-owned DARCARS, son takes driver’s seat


Silver Spring-based DARCARS Automotive Group announced some significant changes last week, with the founder's son, John Darvish, 41, taking over from his father as president and chief executive. His father, also John, who founded the company in 1977, will remain as chairman.
