DARCARS aims to make a difference!
Community outreach is important to us, and we strive to give back in every way we can. Whether it's through donations or event sponsorships, we are always proud to offer our support.
We aim to be a responsible corporate citizen and an engaged leader in the community, as well as a trusted partner for our customers in enhancing their life events. We support our local communities by making donations to the organizations our customers care about. We are also proud of our team members’ dedication to improving our communities.
When we founded DARCARS in 1977, we never imagined we would be fortunate enough to partner with so many meaningful causes in the communities we serve. We feel incredibly lucky to lend a helping hand. DARCARS supports registered 501(c)(3) nonprofits with fundraising through in-kind and monetary donations. We also engage in substantial charity and community sponsorships for nonprofits, chambers of commerce, scholastic programs, and more.

When we first started DARCARS in 1977, we never imagined we'd be fortunate enough to partner with so many causes near and dear to our hearts in the communities we serve. We're not sure how we got so lucky, but we're happy to be able to lend a hand. On this page, you can learn about some of the great organizations we've had the privilege to partner with and support.
Community outreach is important to us, and we strive to give back to the community in any way we can. Whether it's donating to a cause or sponsoring an event, we are more than happy to offer our support.
On this page, you'll find a list of the organizations we've worked with. This includes Martha's Table, an organization that provides access to healthy food and quality education for children and families. It also includes the Wounded Warrior Project, which provides support to veterans and service members. We also support Housing Unlimited, which provides affordable housing for people in mental health recovery. Additionally, over the last three years, DARCARS has donated over $105,000 to Wreaths Across America, and over 200 employees and their families have volunteered to lay wreaths on the gravesite markers of our military heroes. Home for the Holidays: DARCARS Joins Luke’s Wings to Fly Heroes Home
This holiday season, DARCARS Automotive Group and DARCARS Toyota have partnered with Luke’s Wings to bring service members, veterans, and first responders home for the holidays. Through the Heroes Home for the Holidays campaign, DARCARS has pledged $275,000 and 500 flights to reunite heroes with their families. Every car purchased at DARCARS helps fund these flights, making it a meaningful way to give back. If you’re not in the market for a new car, you can still contribute by donating directly to Luke’s Wings. DARCARS Toyota Back To School Event
Did you know that nearly 2 out of 3 students arrive on the first day of school without the supplies they need to learn?
During the Big Summer Giveback program this year, DARCARS Toyota ensured that every single student at Kemp Mill Elementary School received a brand-new backpack filled with school supplies. This incredible program not only eases the burden on teachers in under-resourced schools to provide the supplies their students need to be successful, but it also raises public awareness about the importance of creating fair learning environments in our underserved communities.
This back-to-school season, Toyota dealerships, in partnership with the Kids In Need Foundation (KINF), are equipping 60,000 students nationwide with essential school supplies, promoting equity in education across the country. We are proud to be part of this program and incredibly thankful to our team for making giving back possible.

Team Member Service Awards
We are incredibly proud to congratulate our DARCARS team member, Farzad Makarehchi, for receiving the "Individual Service Award" during the annual Distinguished Service Awards (DSA) presented by the Montgomery County Public Schools’ Board of Education (BOE). We are fortunate to have Farzad and his team as part of the DARCARS Organization. Their contribution has helped MCPS automotive programming to become one of the highest-regarded training programs in the United States. This would not have been possible without our incredible team.
